Alan grew up under the ministry of Mark Danzey at Mountain Park United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain and was an intern in the ministry his senior year. He obtained a soccer scholarship from Lee University and received his Bachelors in Math Education. He was a counselor/director for Camp Glisson for four years and married his college sweetheart and fellow camp counselor, Carrie. Alan was previously the Youth Minister at Acworth United Methodist Church for three years, and the White's just had their first baby this past summer. Alan dreams of being able to teleport someday.
Lindsey Matthews is one of the student pastors and has been in ministry to students for 9 years. Lindsey grew up in Woodstock, GA and heard the call to ministry when she was in high school. She attended LaGrange College where she received a degree in Religion and Philosophy. Lindsey worked as a counselor at Camp Glisson for four summers and moved to Decatur from Cartersville where she served at Sam Jones Memorial UMC as the youth minister. Lindsey is currently enrolled as a Masters of Divinity student at Candler School of Theology.
Andrew Howard is the Program Manager at Mount Pisgah. Howie, as most everyone knows him, holds a degree in Fine Arts with a focus in studio art from Presbyterian College as well as a minor in business administration. Howie spends most of his time doing photography, web design, and graphic design, and has been a member of the student life staff since 2007.
Tammy is the Program Assistant as Mount Pisgah. In high school, Tammy was actively involved in Student Life, and she received the Life Time Achievement Award for Excellence in the Field of being “Top Notch” her senior year. Tammy has a bachelors in Religion and a minor in psychology from Berry College. She worked at WinShape Camps for two amazing summers, and is currently taking online classes with Asbury Theological Seminary perusing her Master of Divinity degree.
Mickey Lyons is the Technical Manager at Mount Pisgah. He has 15 years experience in Video Production, and holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Film from Georgia State University. Mickey has a background in Television Production at Fox5 News, and has been involved in Church production for 6 years. He has been a part of the Mount Pisgah’s Technical Ministry staff since 2005. Mickey is following his late mother’s advice in life: “Use your Talents for the Lord!”
Taylor Harlow is the student worship leader at Mount Pisgah. He has grown up in the ministry watching his father lead praise and worship at numerous churches. His greatest passions are worshiping, spending time with the youth and writing/recording music. He hopes to serve in the ministry for many years, using the gifts and talents the Lord has given him.
