Mount Pisgah Student Life: Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand is a Sunday morning Bible study especially designed for our friends, 6th through 9th grade, with special needs. Each class engages students using all of their senses. Students are lead through music, through the Word and lessons, and through hands on activities.

If you ask Chris, a student, what he likes about the class…he loves “the music”, and Katelyn loves “seeing friends who don’t go to her school.” Angela, a volunteer student leader states, “We all learn from each other. There’s not one teacher. That’s powerful, and you don’t find that sort of environment very often.” Matt, a student of the class, loves “the talks”…
“I know that I get excited waking up on Sunday mornings and coming here-it’s a family. You don’t feel judged. It’s open and loving,” says Jenna, another volunteer student leader.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide an environment for students who may need more individual attention as they learn and grow in the message of Jesus Christ.

Key Scripture
We count it a blessing each week to follow the words of Jesus who said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
